Itinerary

Private transfer to the Istanbul Airport for your flight to Kayseri. Upon arrival at Kayseri Airport, you will be met and transferred privately to Göreme, Cappadocia. Overnight stay in Göreme.

After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your hotel between 9:30 and 10:00 AM and head out to explore the highlights of North Cappadocia together. Our first stop is Uchisar, where you can enjoy great photo opportunities of the famous Uchisar Castle and take a short walk around the area. Then we continue to Cavusin (Rose Valley), known for its beautiful red rock formations and peaceful atmosphere. Next, we visit some of Cappadocia’s most iconic spots: the Fairy Chimneys, Pasabag (Monks Valley), and the Zelve Open-Air Museum, where you can really feel the unique spirit of the region. After lunch, we’ll explore Devrent Valley and the lovely Three Beauties Valley, two must-see places in North Cappadocia. Later in the day, we head to Urgup and Avanos, famous for their traditional red clay pottery. In Avanos, you’ll even get the chance to try making pottery yourself — a fun and memorable experience. If you like, we can also make an optional stop at a Turkish rug and carpet weaving workshop. Overnight stay in Göreme.
Optional: Start the day in a truly magical way with a hot air balloon ride at sunrise — an unforgettable experience and one of the best ways to see Cappadocia from above.

After breakfast pick-up from the hotel will be between 09:30 and 10:00 AM. The tour begins with a visit to Ortahisar, where you will have a great photo opportunity to capture the impressive Ortahisar Rock Castle. Next, we continue to Mustafapaşa, a former Greek village historically known as Sinasos, famous for its well-preserved old houses and rich cultural heritage. Afterward, we drive through Şahinefendi to visit the Roman ruins of Sobesos, a recently excavated archaeological site renowned for its stunning floor mosaics. We then head to Soğanlı Valley, where you will enjoy a 2 km walk through the valley and visit its famous cave churches. This will be followed by a lunch break in Soğanlı Village. After lunch, we visit Kaymaklı Underground City, one of the largest and deepest underground cities in Cappadocia, offering a fascinating insight into ancient underground life. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

After breakfast, depart from Göreme and begin a scenic journey to Gaziantep by private vehicle. Enjoy changing landscapes as you travel from the unique rock formations of Cappadocia to the cultural heart of southeastern Türkiye. Along the way, there will be short comfort stops to relax and take photos. Upon arrival in Gaziantep, check in to your hotel and have time to freshen up. The evening is at leisure to explore the city’s lively streets, taste world-famous Gaziantep cuisine, or simply relax. Overnight in Gaziantep, preparing for the discoveries of the following day.

After breakfast, we drive to Gaziantep, one of Turkey’s most important culinary and cultural cities. Our first stop is the world-renowned Zeugma Mosaic Museum, the largest mosaic museum in the world, showcasing breathtaking Roman mosaics and ancient artworks. We then enjoy free time to sample Gaziantep’s famous baklava, known as the best in the country. Afterwards, we explore the traditional Copper Making Bazaar, where skilled artisans continue centuries-old crafts. In the afternoon, we depart for Adıyaman, enjoying scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, we continue to Kahta, where we settle into our hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening.

Early in the morning, we depart for Mount Nemrut to witness the unforgettable sunrise at the summit. We climb the tumulus built by King Antiochus I Theos and admire the colossal stone heads of ancient gods and kings, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After descending, we visit the impressive Septimius Severus Bridge spanning the Euphrates River and explore the ancient ruins of Arsemia, once the capital of the Commagene Kingdom. Continuing our journey, we cross the Atatürk Dam, one of Turkey’s largest engineering projects, before arriving in Şanlıurfa. The evening is free to enjoy the atmosphere of this historic city.

After breakfast, we start our day in Şanlıurfa, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited cities and a major center of faith. We first visit the Holy Lake (Balıklıgöl) and Abraham’s Cave, both closely linked to the story of Prophet Abraham. We then explore the lively Copper Market, where traditional crafts are still practiced, followed by a tasting of the famous Urfa Kebab at a local market. Next, we visit Göbeklitepe, the world’s oldest known temple complex, offering insight into early human civilization. Conditions permitting, we continue to Harran to see the iconic Beehive Houses. Evening and overnight in Şanlıurfa.

After breakfast, check out and drive to Midyat, a town renowned for its stone architecture and rich Syriac heritage. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided walking tour through the atmospheric old town, exploring its narrow alleys, traditional Midyat stone houses, and deserted Syriac Christian churches. Visit the historic Mor Gabriel Monastery, one of the oldest functioning monasteries in the world, and admire the elegant Midyat Guest House (Konukevi). Discover local silver craftsmanship known as telkari before enjoying free time. In the evening, relax in Midyat, soaking in its unique ambiance and cultural charm.

After breakfast, we check out from our hotel in Midyat and drive to Mardin. Upon arrival, we explore Mardin, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities of Ancient Mesopotamia, renowned for its rich cultural and religious heritage. The city is home to impressive mosques, churches, monasteries, and a fascinating museum. We visit the Grand Mosque, the Church of the Virgin Mary (Maryam), and other significant landmarks. Later, we enjoy free time in the atmospheric souks and famous silverware markets. Dinner and overnight stay in Mardin.
